Fiji FA receives $4.2m

Fifty per cent of Fiji Football Association revenue in 2020 came from the world governing body FIFA in the form of operating grant, states Fiji FA’s annual report that will be presented to its Congress on 12 December.

Fiji FA recorded a revenue of $4.2 million in 2020, compared with $4.2m in 2019.

In addition to the $2m operating grant from FIFA, Fiji FA received $180,259 from Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) as grant and another $156,378 under OFC Just Play.

The Inter District Soccer Championship in 2020 raked in $231,112 while the gate takings at the Battle of the Giants was $194,047.

The Fiji FACT collected $119,992 and the Champion versus Champion series had an income of $31,039 in 2020.

A total $288,423 is shown as “other income” while the Fiji FA collected $747,847 in rental income.
